Lillian R. Barger, 69, formerly of DeForrest Apartments, Huntingdon, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at 4:12 a.m at Huntingdon Manor, where she had resided since March 24, 1997.

Born June 28, 1931, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Clyde R. and Martha A. (Rinehart) Miller. She was married to Raymond C. Barger Sr., who preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1995.

Three children survive: Charles H. Eckley of Mount Union, Darlene V. Eckley of Altoona and Charlann R. Redline of Huntingdon. One grandson, one great-granddaughter and three step-great-grandchildren survive.

Also surviving is a sister, Martha M. Thomas, of Duncansville.

Four children preceded her in death: Patricia Barger, Raymond Barger Jr., Linda Barger and Samuel Barger.

Mrs. Barger was a member of Kingdom Hall, Jehovah's Witnesses of Huntingdon. She also belonged to the Women of the Moose in Huntingdon and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m., at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with Gary O'Brian officiating. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon.
