Teck's father, William Jiles Robinson, made Teck go to medical school to become a doctor. He obtained two medical degrees but never practiced medicine. He had no desire to be a doctor. He purchased a general store in Eaton, Tennesse and spent his life operating his store. He and Kate McMillian were married on a Thursday, November 29, 1906. Their only child, Alti Neal Robinson, was born an a Sunday, February 02, 1908 in Eaton, Gibson Co., Tennessee. Kate died on a Monday, March 31, 1909, in Eaton. Alti Neal at the age of one was sent to Kate's sister to be raised by her. She was spoiled by the sister and became mean and sassy. Alti was sent by her father, Teck, in about 1920, to live with her namesake, Alti Robinson Coop and her cousin Altie Coop Hall in Greenville, Bond Co., Illinois. Aunt Alti had divorced from Bedford Forest Coop in about 1913. She and Altie Hall lived in a small house on East Main Street next-door to the Christian Church. Alti Neal was a very "sassy" and spoiled girl, as reported by Altie Hall, and Teck could not raise her! Teck died of Influenza on a Monday, January 31, 1921, in Eaton, Gibson Co., Tennessee. He was only fourty seven years old.
