My Grandfather was the most amazing man. He would have given you the shirt off his back, his last dollar. I miss he and my Grandmother so much.
My Grandfather grew up in the home he was born in and then later in life raised his family in that same home.
He and my Grandmother ran a very cute and tiny resturant called the Busy B's in the little town of Bristol, Maine.
Back in 2004 they lost that home in a fire. I was the 911 Dispatcher that took that early morning call. My grandparents were raising 3 of their young grandchildren. With very little money and no homeowners insurance the town got together and built them a new home. It was a small 2 bedroom home that was build with the love from that sweet town.
My Grandfather worked many years for the State Of Maine DOT and then many years for his own resturant. He had 4 children and many many grandchildren.
