Edmonston, Shirley R.
Shirley R. Edmonston, 86, Green Bay, died at home Saturday morning, Feb. 28, 2004. Born in Manitowoc on June 17, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Orval and Alvina (Villers) Edmonston. As a young child Shirley moved to Green Bay with her parents and later spent most of her life working at Pauly Cheese Company. She volunteered for the Salvation Army. Shirley enjoyed reading, crossword and picture puzzles, and times spent with her caregiver.
She is survived by her caregiver and friend, Linda Zellner of Green Bay.
Preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at St. Bernard Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral. Funeral Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard Church with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery next to her parents. MALCORE Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
