John N. Selby died at his home near Watersville, Jan. 9, 1919, aged 28 years. He was the son of William Selby, of Mount Airy. He leaves a widow and three small children. Funeral services were held at his home Saturday, Jan. 11th 1919, at 2 P.M. Pallbearers were: Howard Selby, Harry Selby, Courvin Penn, Lenger Penn, Alvin Conaway and Nathan Dorsey. Interment at Taylorsville. Harvey Bowman, funeral director.
