Mary was born March 5, 1929 in Eastland County, Texas to Lee and Lela (Johnston) Harris. She married Calvin Ray Burch July 3, 1951 in Wichita Falls and together they raised one daughter. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Hannah Sunday School Class. Mary loved going for walks and spending time with her sisters.
Mrs. Burch is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Calvin Burch in 2006; son-in-law, Harry Chillas in June; and four sisters, Pauline Duncan, Wanda Muse, Nancy Holliman, and Vera Baggett.
Survivors include her devoted daughter, Sandy Lynn Chillas of Wichita Falls; sister, Evelyn "Billie" Kendrick of NM; granddaughter, Brandee Stone of Wichita Falls; great-grandson, Matthew Stone; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
