"Mrs Nettie Chambers, 86, died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Clarence Coons of Corry, RD 2, where she had lived for the past three years. Mrs Chambers was born on June 3, 1870, in Concord Township. From 1900 to 1914 she lived in Torpedo, but since that time had lived in the Corry and Columbus areas. Her first husband, George W Coons, died on Jan 1, 1913. The following year she was married to James Chambers, who preceded her in death in 1927. Survivors include four other sons, Earl F, Albert S, and Robert L Coons of Corry, and Merle D Coons of Titusville; one daughter, Mrs Archie Titch; 30 grandchldren; 35 great-grandchildren, and one brother, George Hall of Bear Lake. Friends may call at the Bracken Funeral Home at Corry and attend the funeral service there at 11 am Saturday. Rev H Ray Harris will officiate. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Garland."
