KEASBEY — William Romer, Sr., 77, died Sunday night at his home, 10 Crows Mill Road, Keasbey. A resident ot Keasbey for 62 years, he was an ex-chief of the Keasbey Fire Department, member of the Exempt Firemen's Association and Perth Amboy Camp No. 19, Woodmen of the World.
Surviving is his wife, Etta; daughter, Mrs. Bernard Scheid of New York City; six sons, James and Joseph of Fords, Charles and Melvin of Keasbey, William, Jr., of this city, and Michael of Philadelphia, 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Klumpp and brother, Chris Romer, both of New York City.
