W W Blackwell, 78, Terry, died early Sunday afternoon in the Baptist Medical Center following an extended illness. Services: 10.00 am. Tuesday, Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel, 5235 Robinson Road. Burial: Terry Cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites to be held.
Survivors include his wife: Mrs Ruby Lowell Blackwell. Terry; his mother, Mrs. H P. Blackwell, Collins and five sisters; Mrs Clara Morse, of Hattiesburg, Mrs. Martha Jeanes, Collins, Mrs. Amy Thompson of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Jennie Lind Sandford of Collins, and Mrs Nell Freeman. Van Nurp, Calif.

Blackwell, a native of Covington County and a 40 year resident of Terry, was a retired watchman with Jackson Steam Laundry, a veteran of WWI and a member of the Forest Hill Masonic Lodge, and a Baptist.
