Antonia Giuseppa Argenzio was born in Vaglio di Basilicata to Carmine Argenzio & Anna Rosa Bubbico. She came to Kansas City around 1912.

She was married to Vincenzo Armilio at Holy Rosary Italian Church in Columbus Park on 7 Aug. 1913. They had eleven children from this marriage (four passed as young children), all born in Kansas City. See husbands memorial for names of children.

MRS. ANTOINETTE ARMILIO

Mrs. Antoinette J. Armilio, 77, Of 300 West Sea, Independence, died yesterday at the Independence hospital after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Armilio was born In Lucanio, Italy, and came here 52 years ago. Her husband, Vincenzo Armilio, died in 1946. Mrs. Armilio lived at 1019 Prospect before moving recently to live with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee King, Independence. Mrs. Armilio was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic church. She leaves six sons, Joe Armilio, 406 Prospect; Rocco Armilio, 1332 Olive; Steno Armilio, 544 Gillis; Angelo T. Armilio, 5033 North Michigan; Carl Armilio, 15602 E. Forty-second terrace, Independence, and Frank Armilio, 3711 East Tenth; four other daughters, Mrs. Emma Marotta, 2818 Raytown road; Miss Josephine Armilio, 1332 Olive; Miss Rose Armilio, 1326 Olive; Mrs. Clara Hitchcock, 2654 East Eighth; two sisters in Italy, and 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Passantino chapel and at 9 o'clock Tuesday at St. Aioysius Catholic church; burial in Mount St. Mary cemetery. Friends may call after 4 o'clock today at the Passantino chapel. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Monday night at the chapel.
