Services will take place Tuesday for Hugh M. Hardie. 80, of 617 Orange Center road, who died Saturday in Grace-New Haven hospital after a one-day illness.
They will be conducted at 1 p.m. in the Orange Congregational church chapel. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery, Dallas Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of the George L. Smith and Son funeral home, 135 Broad street. Milford.
Born in Dallas Mr. Hardie was an 18 year resident of Orange. He was a retired employe of the Wilson H. Lee company, and a member of the Orange Congregational church.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Lake Hardie, of Orange: a daughter, Mrs. Agnes H. Mikkelsen. of Chatham, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hardie Reardon, of Dallas, Texas; and two grandchildren.
