Delavan - Mrs. Catherine Margaret Amend, 75, Rte. 2, died unexpectedly Friday in her home.
The former Catherine Hermann was born in Germany Oct. 25, 1881, and was married to Conrad Amend in Lincoln, Neb., Feb. 8, 1900. They have resided in Delavan for 30 years. Was was a member of the Congregational Church.
Survivors are her husband; five sons, Reinhold, Palmyra, Alfred, Peoria, Ill., Edward and Aaron, Elkhorn and Arthur, Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Alma Peterson, Milwaukee, Mrs. Flara Peterson and Mrs. Lydia McKay, Burlington; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Millard Church, the Rev. Wallace Christian officiating. Friends may call at the Monroe Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
