Rudy was retired from the Air Force after serving his country in three wars.
The family wishes to thank Southwest Hospice, particularly Karen and the staff members of Cascade Inn who became like family.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mary; sons, Steven and Wayne; and daughter-in-law, Pam. Rudy leaves behind sister, Lydia; and twin brother, AC, who live outside of Oklahoma City; as well as eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends who will dearly miss his jokes and upbeat personality.
Rudy joins in passing, his beloved daughter, Joan; as well as sisters, Otylie, Mary Jane, and Emily.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., July 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Vancouver Heights United Methodist Church, 5701 MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver, WA.
