"Yesteryears" Column June 21, 1973
Earl G. Wigginton, age 78 years, a well-known resident of the Exeland community for the past 50 years, died in the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire on Saturday, June 16th.
He was born in Fox Lake, March 6, 1895. He worked as a Railroad Telegrapher and came to Exeland when a young man and worked as a telegrapher in the first Depot in Exeland. He later was employed as a Rural Mail Carrier until his retirement.
