John Stanhope "Hope" Fullwood was born in South Carolina on 5 Oct 1871. His parents moved to Coryell County, Texas by 1880. His father died in 1898. Hope was a farmer all his life, and he never married. He died of tuberculosis in San Antonio, Texas, (according to his death certificate) and his body was returned to Coryell County to be buried with his family.
