OBITUARY

"MRS. E.P. WESTCOTT

After a lingering illness Mrs. E.P. Westcott quietly passed away early in the morning of Monday, January 27, 1919. Her death had been expected for several weeks.

Eva B. Harmon was born in Cross Plains, Indiana April 2, 1865. On January 1, 1892 she was married to Ed P. Westcott. She spent her youth in Nebraska and after her marriage moved to Oregon and from Portland, to Sidney, Montana some ten years ago. Since that time she had been a resident of this city.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Alonzo David. Two brothers also survive, Edgar Harmon of Los Angeles, Calif., and Albert Harmon of Spokane, Washington.

Funeral services were conducted in the home Thursday, January 30th. The services was in charge of Rev. R. B. Walker, Minister of the People's Congregational Church and was attended by a large group of friends. Interment was made in the Sidney cemetery.

Mrs. Westcott was a woman of quiet disposition, home loving and much devoted to her family. She had been a patient sufferer for a number of years and while not often seen outside of her home possessed a circle of devoted friends who mourn her departsure from this life. The body sleeps but the soul lives, and shared in the larger joys of deathless distance."
