Carl C. Burton was raised on Dry Ridge, Lawrence Co., KY and shortly after his marriage moved to Columbus, OH, where he worked for Hercules Box Company, after which he was a driver for the Columbus Transit Company for 38 years. He was proud to have served as an elder of the Southwood Church of Christ, and as master of Southgate Lodge #692 F. & A.M. He was also a member of Temple Chapter, Kings Council, and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus. He died of complications from open heart surgery.
