HAZEL HINSON CASEY, 89, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 in a Hot Springs, Arkansas hospital. She was born April 27, 1911 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Hazel was a member of Village United Methodist Church, the Hot Springs Village Ladies Golf Association, and was a retired church librarian. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Casey; her parents, Frank & Eunice (May) Hinson; brother, Hubert Hinson; and sister Eunice Johnson. Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law-Mike & R. D, Causey of Conway, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Alma Johnson of Port Arthur, Texas and Ola Mae St. Germain of Galveston, Texas; and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Village United Methodist Church with Rev. David Prothro officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Village United Methodist Church Library Fund. Cremation is under the direction of Caruth Village Funeral Home.
