John Grierson

HYSHAM, MT. ---- John Grierson worked for the first National Bank in 1934 and was manager of Mid-Yellowstone Electric from 1938 until 1959.

He had managed his fathers ranch, J.B. Grierson Ranch, at Myers, MT., for the last 25 years.

Mr. Grierson, 71, died Tuesday in Billings Deaconess Hospital.

He was born in Myers, MT., a son of James B. and Rosalie Duff Grierson.

He attended the Rancher and Hysham schools and graduating from the University of Montana in 1934.

He married Marjory Neil Dec. 30, 1941 in Billings, MT.

He was a member of the Hysham Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, and the Montana Stockgrowers Association.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dr. Robert Grierson of Miles City; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Rebecca) Almond of Hysham; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Hysham Community Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in the Rancher Cemetery Myers, MT.
