DONALD E. BARNES (1929 - 2011) Born Feb. 24, 1929 in Delta, Utah, passed away July 13, 2011 while surrounded by his loved ones. He resided in Yucaipa, California for the past 15 years and was a prior resident of Colton, California where he graduated from CHS in 1948 as an accomplished athlete who loved and excelled in footfall. He was a graduate of San Bernardino Valley College, where he obtained his degree, then went on to become an electrical contractor and owner of D.E. Barnes Electric. He served in the U.S.A.F. during the Korean War and was honorably discharge in 1952 as a SSgt. He is lovingly survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Doris Barnes. He is the beloved father of four sons, Chris, David, Gary, and Mark; grandfather of Kimberly, Brad, Matt,Sarahann, and Easton Barnes; and great grandfather of Donovan. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 18th at 6:00 P.M. at the Centerpoint Church, located at 170 W. F St, Colton, CA 92324.
