Leon C. Eddings was born January 26, 1930 in Canadian, Texas to Viola and Aaron Caswell Eddings and died Saturday in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital at the age of 66. Leon grew up in Roger Mills County and graduated from Reydon High School in 1948. In 1949, he began his career in the U.S. Army and served his country during Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired in December of 1971 after 20 years of service. Leon married May White on October 20, 1970 in Lawton and they remained their until moving to Amarillo, Texas. They later moved to western Oklahoma in 1973 and lived in Reydon before moving to Cheyenne to make their home. He attended the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
