His visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, with his funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery, with Dr. Lawrence Phipps officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Brannon Auvil; son, Jeremy Auvil (Jenny); daughter, Katie Claire Auvil; 2 grandsons, James and John Auvil; mother, Vania Peacock; sisters, Tillie and Debbie; brother, Rennie.
