There are various notations relative to expenses 1761 in regard to his mother's funeral, including attendance upon her by Dr. Michael Wallace.
Estate settlement to the children:
1. Paid to Nathaniel Pendleton, in the right of Elizabeth Clayton Anderson Pendleton, his wife
(Joseph Anderson, deceased, being the first).
2. Paid to Samuel Clayton.
3. Paid to George Clayton.
4. Paid to John Clayton.
5. Paid to Mr. Archibald Ritchie (executor of James Jones, deceased) in right of Lucy Clayton Jones his wife.
6 My part of the estate (Philip).
