Mrs. Rosalie Post Passes
Mrs. Rosalie B. Post aged 82.
widow of Ah ram Poet of 1H Hoffman
street, died st her home yesterday
morning at 6.
She was apparently in her usual
good health Saturday, but was
stricken between midnight Saturday
and 1 yesterday morning.
Her late husband was a well
known farmer of the Town of Mohawk,
Montgomery County, for a
number of years.
Mrs. Post had resided in Johnstown
for the past 11 years and
had made many friends during her
residence here who wilt be grieved
to learn of her sudden passing.
She was bom September 11, 1S33
at Swlteer Hill, daughter of James
and Catherine Ann (Fonda) Bearcroft.
The only survivors are an uncle,
Edwin L. Fonda, of Johnstown, and
several cousins.
She was a member of the Reformed
church of Fonda and a
member of Circle 3 of the Fonda
church, also the Women's Auxiliary
of the Johnstown YMCA.
The hody wss taken to the Buchanan
funeral home, where the
funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon
at 3:30. The Rev. William
Miller, pastor of the Fonda Reformed
church, will officiate. Interment
will be in the family plot
of the Johnstown cemetery.
