C.M. Stone, 71, formerly of Breeding, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 4:40 a.m. at Riverview Village in Clarksville, IN. He was the son of the late George and Ruth Bowe Stone and was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Stone.
Survivors include, one son, Dale Furkins of Columbia; three step-daughters, Lillie Southers and Martha Southers both of Louisville and Sue McNeil of Chicago, IL, one sister Shirron Stone of Louisville, four brothers Charles Stone of New Albany, IN, James W. Stone of Louisville, Chelcie Stone of Columbia, and Oliver 'Cat' Stone of Louisville, three grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and 13 step great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Henry officiating. Burial in the Hunter Cemetery in Breeding. Grissom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
