Mrs. Emma Sweigert, eighty-four, 316 W. James St., died at her home at 8:10 p.m. yesterday after an illness of two weeks. She was the widow of William Sweigart. Born at Mt. Nebo, she was a daughter of the late William and Rachel Gales Armstrong, and a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church. There survive: a son, W. Roy Sweigert, Ardmore, and a daughter, Celia, wife of Harry Snader, at home. (Lancaster New Era - Aug 16, 1949)
