US War Veteran, presumably in World War I. Eldest of 4 sons of Herman Anklam and Mollie Pomrenke, Albert was born on their farm. His first wife was Pauline Stolzmann, who died tragically young in 1912 at the age of 33. Albert remarried Bertha Belter, and then subsequently Albert died young in 1933 at age 55. I have found no record of any children for Albert Anklam. In 1910 he listed retail liquor dealer as an occupation. He served in the military for World War I and may have been on a pension when he got back, as his occupations are listed as "none" for 1920 and 1930.
