Elsie C. Vogel Glover, 98, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center, Dodge City.
She was born March 11, 1914 at Park, Kansas, the daughter of Anthony and Cecilia Marie Leiker Zimmerman.
A Dodge City resident since 1934, moving from Park and living a short time in Kinsley, she was a sales clerk in the cosmetic department at Eckles Department Store in Dodge City. She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Daughters of Isabella and Altar Society all in Dodge City.
On September 1, 1937 she married Herman F. Vogel at Dodge City. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1959. She later married Charles Beal at Kinsley, Kansas. He also preceded her in death. On February 9, 1985, she married Charles Glover at Kinsley. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2001.
Survivors include: 3 sons, Tom Vogel, Dodge City, Gary Vogel, Denver and George Vogel and wife Barbara, Temple, Texas; 7 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Adolph and George Zimmerman and 2 sisters, Sr. Hugoline Zimmerman and Marie Kline.
