Henry and Fannie are on the 1860 census for Stanly Co. He died sometime after the census was taken.

Some genealogist put his birthdate at Sept 11, 1773
****note You have his son, Henry Carter, buried in the Richard Carter family cemetery. I
used to this was true also but I've found additional information stating otherwise.
Since Henry was Richard's father it is logical he would be buried there. It's my
understanding he and Fannie are buried in a cemetery off of Ingold Rd in South
Albemarle. It was an old community cemetery. Unfortunately there are not markers
for them.
