Thomas H. "Tommy" Hood, age 73, of Sweetwater, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Tommy was known as the voice of the Sweetwater Wildcats football and basketball games, on WDEH and WYGO radio stations, for over 20 years. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church of Vonore. Preceded in death by his parents: Tom and Margaret Hood, sisters: Mary Tapp, and Lori Labanowitz. Survivors include wife of 47 years: Georgia Hood, of Sweetwater, son and daughter-in-law: Rick and Sherry Hood, of Cincinnati, OH., sister: Lynda Kerr, of Sweetwater. Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday September 7, 2012, from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev.
