Funeral services for Constance Allean Wilson Reed, 77, of 145 Cascade Drive, Bowman, S.C., will be held at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Orangeburg, with Bishop Jason Ross
officiating. Burial will be in Bowman Memorial Cemetery.
Allean died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at her home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1934, in Honey Hill, S.C., county of Berkeley. She was the daughter of the late Russell William Wilson and the late Pearl Russell Wilson. She attended public schools in Berkeley County. Allean was retired from the U.S. Post Office after 33 years of service. Allean married Boyd "J" Reed on Nov. 6, 1971, where they were presently residing in Bowman, S.C.
Allean was a former member of Southern Methodist Church in Bowman, S.C. She and her husband are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Orangeburg. She loved to travel but most of all she loved to be with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one sister, Sue Ann Wilson Morelli, and one brother, William Russell Wilson.
Survivors include her three children, Matthew Cleveland Cannon III of Moncks Corner, S.C., Karen Dee Cannon and her husband (Barry Dean Hughes) of Bowman, S.C., and
Randal Wayne Cannon and his wife (Jimmie Sue) of North Charleston, S.C. She has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
