Miss Christine Miller of 421 Amvale NE suffered an apparent heart attack while shopping at the Rand Hardware Friday at about 3pm and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miss Miller was born in Massillon and resided here until 1921, when she moved to Lakewood. She returned here in October. She worked at the Guardian Trust Bank in Cleveland for many years, retiring in 1945.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jean Miller Sharp, at home, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday at 1:30pm at the Gordon-Shaidnagle-Hollinger funeral home. The Rev. Daniel Blazier, minister of the First Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Massillon Cemetery.

Miss Anna Miller of Warren gave a turkey dinner Thursday for a number of relatives. Pointsettias, evergreens and flowers decorated the table and house. Those present were Mrs. Mary Zorger, Miss Jeanette Zorger, Arthur Zorger, T???? Zorger, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Pratt, the Misses Evelyn, Jean and Margery Pratt, Robert Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. J. Miller and daughter Geraldine of Massillon, Miss Jean Sharp of Canton and Miss Christine Miller of Cleveland.

Mrs. Ann Miller Waterbury, 77, formerly of Massillon, died Friday morning in Hendersonville, N.C. at the residence of her sisters, Mrs. Jean Sharp and Miss Christine Miller. Her death followed a long illness.
Mrs. Waterbury, a native of Massillon, had been residing with her sisters for some time. The two sisters are her only survivors.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Gordon, Shaidnagle and Hollinger. The Rev. Gordon W. Hagberg, pastor of the First Christian Church. will officiate.
Interment will be made in Massillon Cemetery.
