James B. Elias, 81, of 99 Center Street, died Saturday at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland. Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late Edwin Elias and Margaret (Bannatyne) Elias. He was a retired, selfemployed tailor, a member of First English Baptist Church and was deacon emeritus of that church. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Harriet (Wagner) Elias; one daughter, Mrs. Roberta Lowe, Herndon, Va. and two grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home Sunday. Services will be conducted in the Durst Funeral Home Monday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Harris and Rev. Dr. Olin Herndon. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Alderton, Ervin Lewis, Stanley Eisel Sr., Stanley Eisel Jr.; Harry Fuller and Howard Ward.
