Born September 17, 1925, the daughter of Walter Emory Watson and Martha Elenor Watson, nee Strieble.

Ms. French was retired from Emerson Electric where she had been employed for ten years and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in St. Charles.

Geraldine was united in marriage to Earl G. French on November 9, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Survivors include her sons, Michael A. and Eric A; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was one of sixteen children, Harold (Tots), Walter, Jr., Jaydee, Wilma Parker, Blanche Pritchett, Alvin Glenwood (Glen), Sharon Maupin, John, Madonna (Sis) Courtway, Opal Holmes, Donald, Norman, Dezmar (Duck), Audry Rizzuti and Irene Winkler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl and a son David.
