RUSHVILLE - Robert W. "Bob" Buchan, 66, died Thursday, Nov. 2, at Santa Fe, N.M. He was born Dec. 15, 1933, at Gordon. His parents were Cecil and Blanche (Goslin) Buchan. He married Bertha Clark in 1952 at Albuquerque, N.M. He was a teacher, and had operated family businesses with his father and sons. He was an active volunteer in many area activities.
He is survived by four sons, Byron Buchan of Rushville, Bill Buchan of Hastings, Bob Buchan of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Butch Buchan of Portales, N.M.; daughter Barb Schrader of Rapid City, S.D.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Buchan's funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gordon, with Father Robert Karnish officiating. Burial will be in Gordon Cemetery.
