Born in Germany and immigrated to America with her family when she was three years old. Married Philemon Zuercher (d 1961) on Sep. 29, 1915 in Fort Dodge, IA. They farmed in the Mallard and Havelock areas for many years. They had one son, Maurice, who died in 1979. Survived by sisters Mrs. William (Gertie) Baxter; Mrs. Alta Wieker; brothers John Johnson; Emery Johnson; Eddie Johnson. Six brothers preceded her in death: George, Claus, Reemty, Ralle, Elmer and Siebold, and one sister Lorene.
