"Together Again"
The world's most loving and adored mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Beverly Jean Dunlap Behunin passed away peacefully on August 30, 2012 at her home at the age of 87 surrounded by her family.
Beverly was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 25, 1925 to Ralph E. and Millie K. Dunlap. She graduated from South High School. Beverly met the love of her life, Franklin Taylor Behunin at the Coconut Grove in downtown Salt Lake City and were married two months later on February 7, 1946, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Beverly worked and retired from Mountain Bell in 1983. After raising their children, F. Terry, Robert and Sandy, Bev and her dedicated husband, Frank, traveled the world seeing many magnificent places. Being with her family made her the happiest. Family gatherings will never be the same!
Beverly is survived by her sons F. Terry Behunin (Shella), Robert Wayne Behunin and her daughter Sandra B. Decker (Chad). She is also survived by twelve grand-children and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen Phillips King (Jerry), Mildred Phillips Paramore (Richard), Maxine Dunlap and Melvin Dunlap (Jean).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 11:00am at the Rosecrest First Ward, 3101 South 2300 East. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., and at the church Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.holbrookmortuary.com
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Rosecrest First Ward Family and the wonderful staff from Care Source, especially Wade, Stephanie and Nichole. Without them, we would have been lost.
