He was the co-owner, along with his brothers, of Baxter Transportation Trucking Co. in Hyannis until his retirement 16 years ago. After his retirement, he worked for Midway Garage in Osterville, retiring four years ago.
Mr. Drew was a member of the Hyannis Lodge of Elks and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hyannis. He was an avid shellfisherman and sports fan, especially enjoying baseball and football.
He was the husband of the late Edith M. (Cash) Drew.
Surviving are his daughters Janet M. Dragunas of Braintree MA and Joanne E. Drew of Osterville MA; brothers Kenneth Drew of Marstons Mills MA, Donald Drew of Barnstable and Ithal "Junior" Drew of Hyannis; sister Barbara Perry of Hyannis; and many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews.
