2nd Baronet Pease of Hummersknott
He was the son of Sir Arthur Francis Pease, 1st Bt. and Laura Matilda Ethelwyn Alix.
He married, firstly, Jeannette Thorn Kissel, daughter of Gustave Edward Kissel and Caroline Roberts Thorn, on 17 January 1917.
He married, secondly, Laura Margaret Martin, daughter of Hugh Martin, on 19 April 1961.
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, and at Trinity College, Cambridge.
He gained the rank of Captain in the Northumberland Hussars Yeomanry.
He fought in the First World War.
He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding of Yorkshire.
He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding of Yorkshire in 1923.
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pease, of Hummersknott, Borough of Darlington, co. Durham [U.K., 1920] on 23 November 1927
His eldest son, F/O Arthur Peter Pease, was killed in the Battle of Britain.
His second son, Sir Richard Thorn Pease (b. 20 May 1922, d. 9 Mar 2021) succeeded him as 3rd Baronet.
