Funeral In Bryan
Sam Tolbert Guest, 83. passed away at. 2 a. m. Monday at his home, 314 Morris street. in Houston. He was born in Brazos county. The body will be brought to Bryan on the Southern Pacific train at 10:05 Wednesday morning and taken to Hillier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon in Hillier Funeral chapel with Dr. R. E. Day officiating. Friends who will serve as pallbearers will be Horace Dansby, Jeff Tabor, Tom Stewart, Mac Stewart, Mit Dansby and Mit Weedon. Survivors include three step-daughters, all of whom reside in Houston, Mrs. Lillie Powell., Mrs. Belle Upright Mrs. Nettie Cole; one step-son. A. A. Wyatt of Houston: one brother, J. R. Guest of Houston, and two half brothers, Sam and C. P. Foster of Bryan. -Jan. 10, 1950 Bryan Daily Eagle.
