Carl Victor Ridgeway, 55, of Gadsden died at a hospital Tuesday, October 6, after several months' illness. He was a native of Blount County and a resident of Etowah County since 1932. A carpenter, he was a member of Walnut Park Baptist church where he served on the board of deacons.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Floy Dean Dempsey Ridgeway; three brothers, Zelma and Earl of Altoona Route Two and Harlie of Madera, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Hathorn and Mrs. Pearl Skipper of Altoona Route Two.
He was the son of John William and Mary Elizabeth Nunnally Ridgeway.
