Wayman Vest Armstrong, 66, of Williamsville, died Thursday. Feb. 2 at the University Hospital in Charlottesville. Mr. Armstrong had recently spent some time at the Monterey Hotel here. He was a son of the late Harmon M. and Alverta Jack Armstrong and was born at Deerfield Oct 10, 1900. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Rita Leach, Williamville; Mrs. Alma Morris, Louisa; Mrs. Amelia Harlow and Mrs. Phyllis Cox, both of Charlottesville; and Mrs. Doris Clark, Dunnellon, Fla.; four brothers, Norman H. Armstrong, Truman Armstrong and Lee Armstrong, all of Charlottesville; and Stanley Armstrong, of Griston, N.C. The funeral service was held Sunday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. from the Hamilton Chapel Advent Christian Church at Mustoe with burial in the church cemetery. Obaugh Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
