Funeral services fro former Victoria resident, Mrs. Addie Barefield, 66, of Austin, who died Tuesday in a Austin hospital following a long illness will be held at 2p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Polk Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow the services in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Barefield Funeral Home.
Walk-in visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-8:30 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wyatt, Lawrence Gaskin,
Kenneth Mumphord, Alvin Mumphord, Jr., Steve Manning, and Robert Herron.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Brenda Fullwood of Austin, Mrs. Addie Theresa Barefield of Austin, a son, Johnny Ray Barefield of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Rogers of Houston; seven brothers, Clarence and Elvin Mumphord of Tacoma, Wash., Lloyd and Hhoyd Mumphord of Victoria, Lemuel Mumphord of Houston, Tony O. Mumphord of Detroit, Mich., Alvin Mumphord of Placedo; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Barefield, Jr., on Aug. 30, 1986.
