Margaret Louise Cole, 92, of Sidney and formerly of Nineveh, New York, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2004, at The Hospital in Sidney. She was born October 5, 1911, daughter of the late Warren and Lettie Mae (Foster) Couch in McGraw, New York. Margaret married Orlow Cole on September 18, 1927 in Middletown, New Jersey. He predeceased her on January 29, 1980.
She was a member of the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Sidney since 1933.
Margaret is survived by daughter, Frances Baciuska, Nineveh; son, Roger W. Cole, Florida; sister, Mildred Austin, Cortland, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Cole, Otego; numerous half-brothers and sisters; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She is also predeceased by son, Stanley Cole; and a brother, Clarence Couch; sister, Mary Haney; and a couple grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, April 25, 2004, from 2 to 4 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Sidney. Rev. Robert Goldenberg will officiate. Burial will be in Perch Pond Cemetery in Colesville, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Circle Drive Alliance Church. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H.
