Jean was born in Winnipeg, daughter of David and Annie (Jordan) Anderson.
Jean was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Ethel Anderson, Mary McKay and brothers, George and David Anderson. Jean spent her entire life in Winnipeg having attended George V School and Lord Selkirk High School. Jean and her family also enjoyed many years of vacationing at their cottage in Winnipeg Beach.
Besides her husband of 50 years, Bill, Jean leaves to cherish her memory her sister Anne Anderson; sisters-in-law Mrs. Pauline Anderson and Mrs. Dolly Anderson; nieces Arlene and Ed Bester and family in Vancouver, B.C., Dayle Woytyshyn and family, Jean and Gerry McDonald and family, and Darcy Anderson; nephews Rev. Donald and Marilyn McKay and family, George and Kathy Anderson and family, all of Winnipeg.
