Moved from Omaha in 1912 with his wife, Bertha, mother-in law, son Walter and his wife Constance, and daughters, Bessie and Martha, to work as chief dispatcher at the Spooner railway station. Bertha died shortly after the move. Walter and his wife moved back to Omaha around 1915. Bessie married Al Nystrom and had one daughter, Jeannette; Martha married Harry Dahl and had three children, Harriet, Virginia and Morton.
