Nellie E. Nickerson, 81, of 1165 Chemeketa St. NE, died Monday in a Salem nursing home.
A native of Tennessee, she came here from Kentucky in 1956.
Surviving are a daughter, Elathier Nickerson, Salem; two sisters, Bertha C. Crosby, Portland, and Fannie McCleskey, in Alabama, and two brothers, Jesse, in Florida, and Floyd, Portland.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Virgil T. Golden Chapel. Interment will be private.
