Beverly was born on August 31, 1951 in Noel, Missouri. She was the third child of eleven children born to John Paul Barnby, Sr. & Dorothy Rose (Morgan) Barnby. She started school in Winkelman, Arizona. She was called "Ann" when she was young & for part of her grade school years. She later started using her first name or Bev for short. Dad told me that she was given the middle name for Aunt Margaret Ann, who was also her godmother. We moved to Kearny, Arizona, where she started third grade. She later graduated from Ray District High School in Kearny. She married Robert Joseph Winkel in 1970. She worked in the shipyards in Connecticut while her husband was in the U.S. Navy. She later worked a few other places. She got her Dental Assistant degree at Pima in Tucson. She worked in that field for many years. She was working for Geico until her death. Beverly loved talking about their four children. One of the last places she wanted me to see was the community park that she had taken her children to when they were young. It was walking distance from their house in San Diego. She was such a wonderful MOM! I miss you sister!
