Dan L. Walker, 62, of Olney, died at 4:57 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2001, at his residence following an extended illness.

The body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until service time in the Chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Warner of Mt. Gilead Church officiating. Private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date in Forrest Ridge Cemetery south of Noble.

Mr. Walker was born April 20, 1939, in Wayne County, the son of Gail and Mary Ann (Wilkins) Walker. He married Caroline Sue Bradbury on September 11, 1965, in Jasper County. He was an auto mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Sue Walker, of Olney; one daughter, Lisa and her husband, Scott Goodwin, of Willow Hill; his mother," Mary Ann Baughman, of Bridgeport; one grandson, Walker Lane Goodwin at home; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, one sister, and four uncles.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
