Mrs. Mertie E. Heddings, 91, of 1837 N. 36th St., Kansas City, Kan., died Sunday at Bethany Medical Center. Mrs. Heddings was born in Hale. Mo., and had lived in this area most of her life. She leaves two sons, Harold Heddings, Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert Heddings, Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Mae Davis and Mrs. Glenna Kepler of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Gladys Riegel, Parkville; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Butler 18th Street Chapel.
